Love cooking and eating fish and shellfish? Then get your skates on for Pembrokeshire Fish Week!
The event has been voted best food festival in the UK by visitbritain.com and one of the tastiest festivals in Europe by the Independent.
The festival has a superb line-up of demonstrations, workshops, and classes in Pembrokeshire between June 23rd and July 1st.
Don't miss ‘A Fair Fish for a Fare Dish' - the annual celebrity chef masterclass at the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven on 27th June.
Well-known chefs Bryn Williams and Anthony Evans will be creating inspiring seafood dishes with highly respected chefs Alun Williams and Ravinder Bhogal, making their first appearance at Fish Week.
Also new to the festival is Anand George, one of the UK's most acclaimed Indian chefs, who will be holding two Indian sea food workshops at Pembrokeshire College on 26th June.
Learn the techniques of fusing flavours and make an authentic seafood curry influenced by his native Kerala on the Southern Coast of India, with a mix of local fish and aromatic spices.
The proprietor of The Purple Poppadum in Cardiff, Anand will also be presenting Indian fish cookery demonstrations at Pembrokeshire Fish Week's opening day at Milford Haven Marina on 23rd June.
Back by popular demand this year are Sushi workshops with Kimie Atkins, Japanese sushi expert, on 28th June at Pembrokeshire College,
A must for all sushi lovers, learn the different elements to authentic sushi from the rice preparation to cutting techniques in this hands-on workshop.
If you want to learn all about filleting fish, reserve your place at hands-on workshops with champion fish craftsman (and woman!) Duncan and Sue Lucas from Passionate About Fish.
The workshops will be held at Pembrokeshire College on 25th June, and Duncan and Sue will be holding demos at Fish Week's opening day at Milford Haven Marina on 23rd June and Tenby Harbour on 24th June.
The pair will also be holding fish filleting classes at secondary schools throughout the week, supported by Valero.
Also at the opening day in Milford Haven on 23rd June are classic French seafood cookery demos by Masterchef finalist Ludo Dieumegard, and family outdoor cooking demos with bbq expert Ben Bartlett, sponsored by RWE npower.
And for keen young cooks, there is a fantastic children's fish cookery marquee, sponsored by Valero, and a children's fun fish cookery demonstration the following Saturday (30th June) at Folly Farm.
